Fatliquoring agent

GREIBOSOL HPI

GREIBOSOL HPI is a fatliquoring agent for water resistant and soft leathers as well as for chrome and combination tanned leathers. Leathers fatliquored with GREIBOSOL HPI have a silky, smooth handle. Its very good light fastness makes GREIBOSOL HPI also suitable for white or pastel shade leathers. On suede leathers, a nice lustre is obtained.

Application

In addition to its very good softening properties GREIBOSOL HPI, applied in a suitable process, results in good water-resistance. The best water-resistant effects are obtained by subsequent treatment with suitable cationic "capping" agents, e.g. chromium sulphate. (Cationic "capping" should be realized in a fresh bath.)

GREIBOSOL HPI can be combined with other anionic and non-ionic fatliquoring agents. However, depending on the customers’ requirements, additional fatliquoring agents may not be necessary.
