Full acrylic syntan for all soft leathers

GREIBOTAN RS

GREIBOTAN RS can be applied to all very soft articles for example nappa leather, garment leather or upholstery. It leads to a very full handle without giving a rubber touch to the leathers.

GREIBOTAN RS imparts very good grain tightness also for very soft leathers and avoids the hardening of the leathers.

GREIBOTAN RS is recommended for white and lightfast leathers.

Approx. 2 years Stored sealed at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C, GREIBOTAN RS becomes darker at aging, this will not influence the application.

 

Application

GREIBOTAN RS works best when it is used in the retanning process.
Its specific properties will be achieved best when 2 - 4 % will be used in floats between 35 °C and 40 °C, 30 minutes before adding the main part of the retanning.

The product penetrates evenly from both sides of the hides when it is used on well-neutralized leathers where 2 - 4 % is recommended.

GREIBOTAN RS can be used in amounts of 1 - 3 % after fatliquoring and can be run 30 minutes, prior to acidification.
Improved grain tightness and bath exhaustion of the fatliquors are the result.

When GREIBOTAN RS is used on un-neutralized leathers, it has a higher affinity for the grain side. In this way good grain tightness can be obtained on loose grain materials, achieved with maximum of 2 % GREIBOTAN RS.
