Semi-synthetic emulsion metalworking fluid

GREIBOCUT 4021

GREIBOCUT 4021 is a boron and formaldehyde free semi-synthetic, multi-purpose coolant. This amine containing emulsion is developed for light to medium machining operations on steel, cast iron and various aluminium alloys. Due to the good flushing performance and excellent low foam tendency, GREIBOCUT 4021 is also well suited for grinding operations in the bearing and other precision industries.

GREIBOCUT 4021 has a mineral oil content of approx. 20% The concentrate does not contain nitrite or secondary amines, therefore it meets the TRGS 611 regulations, also special inhibitors give effective prevention against nitrosamine formation Due to an efficient anti-corrosion additive system GREIBOCUT 4021 emulsions provide long-term pH-stability and excellent tank life.

We recommend to make-up the GREIBOCUT 4021-emulsion with a proportional coolant mixing system. Ideally fill using room temperature water with a hardness range from 100 to 370 ppm CaCO3. If manually filling, the concentrate should be added slowly to the water in an area where the fluid is moving rapidly. The maximum working temperature of the emulsion is approximately 40 QC, We recommend testing all sensitive materials for compatibility, particularly for staining and discolouration before using GREIBOCUT 4021.

The concentrate storage temperature is ideally between 5 to 35 °C and the container must be protected from frost. The shelf life of GREIBOCUT 4021 is 12 months.
