GREIBOCOOL S

Characteristics:

GREIBOCOOL S is a water-miscible cooling lubricant especially for honing and lapping of workpieces of ferrous metals. It is used especially for the heavier machining operations.

Flash point:	> 150 °C	DIN ISO 2592
Density (20 °C):	ca. 0,86 - 0,88 g/cm³	DIN 51757
Viscosity (20 °C):	ca. 50 mPas	DIN 53019
pH-Value (7% in water, 20 °C):	9 - 10	DIN 51369
Miscibility with water:	emulsifyable

 

Chemical composition:

Mixture of mineral oil, corrosion inhibitors and emulsifiers.

 

Properties:

GREIBOCOOL S improves lubrication, corrosion protection and flushing during machining operations.

The product is free of boron, nitrite, secondary amines and organically bound halogens.

 

Storage:

Recommended storage temperature for quality reasons: +10 to +30 °C. Possible inhomogeneities (flocculation, stratification, sediment, etc.) due to other storage temperatures usually disappear when stored in the recommended temperature range. If such inhomogeneities do not disappear by itself during storage in the recommended temperature range, the product should be stirred for homogenization.

Application concentration:	ca. 7 % in water

System care:	eventually biocide addition, microbial control

Eventually addition of corrosion inhibitors is required.
